Electric bikes for the Canary Islands
There is a real financial advantage to buying from the mainland here, and one real limitation. We will give you both.
How your bike gets to you
We ship to every island. The bike travels assembled and checked, in a large box with the handlebar turned and the pedals removed. Shipping to Tenerife is €150 and €200 to the rest of the islands, and there are import formalities on arrival which we explain before you order.

The invoice is issued without VAT
Invoices to customers registered as resident in the Canary Islands are issued without VAT, which is 21%. A bike priced at €3,000 on our site comes to €2,479 — that is €521 less.
To that you add shipping (€150 to Tenerife, €200 to the other islands) and the import formalities on arrival. We give you the complete delivered figure up front, so you can compare it properly against a local quote. This applies to the Canaries only — it does not apply in the Balearics.
What we will not pretend
- One partner workshop in the Canaries, on Gran Canaria. Nothing on Tenerife yet, and we would rather say so than let you assume.
- The warranty is handled from Spain regardless of where you are. You never ship a bike back to the mainland yourself.
- Routine servicing can be done by any competent local shop; the motor, the battery and warranty claims need an official service point.
- If you know a good shop on your island that would make a sensible partner, tell us. That is how the network grows.
Riding in the Canaries
Year-round riding weather and some of the longest climbs in Europe, which is a combination you do not find in many places.
- Tenerife’s climb to Teide is one of the longest paved ascents anywhere. An e-bike turns it from an expedition into a morning.
- Volcanic terrain is hard on tyres and drivetrains. Expect to clean and check more often than you would at home.
- Heat and batteries. Never leave the battery in a parked car. It is the fastest way to shorten its life here.
